High-grade corrugated boxes manufacturing industry engaged in the design and printing services, mainly downstream appliances IT and food consumption of large enterprises. With these large orders from customers to improve the capacity of national consumption increased significantly. At the same time domestic corrugated box industry concentration is very low, with high-quality products and services companies are high-speed expansion of the big order to seize the increment.
Corrugated boxes industry concentration is low, but in the upper reaches of corrugated / containerboard industry concentration is quite high. When the price trend is clearly the time, leading small and medium enterprises are willing to push paper, paper prices, paper stock dealers to actively increase the cover plate reluctant sellers, end users will have to speed up the procurement is in panic, which led to the carton the upstream face of the whole business (paper mills and distributors at home), when the price is relatively weak.
Present a polarization of corrugated signs. On the one hand, more and more high-end customers need high-quality corrugated boxes and additional services, and can provide manufacturers of such products and services still can not keep up production of such incremental incremental market demand; the other hand, , many low-end customers only need to "container can hold things," the quality of corrugated boxes and no requirements for additional services, such a limited market demand increase and the threshold is not high, over-supply. Their own high-end customers makes them excellent profitability is less sensitive to the cost of carton packaging, combined with boxes of these customers and services of high quality urgent needs, they will accept the higher price elasticity. The low-end users, market competition, homogenization, owning household has become the only result. Low-end market has generally led to lower gross margins.

Corrugated Boxes and Other Different Types Of Cardboard Boxes
What? You may say,"Do I need know anything more about a cardboard box? It's just a box anyway!" Well, you are wrong if you think so. Actually. they come in many types. Cardboard refers to different paper-type materials such as corrugated fiberboard, paperboard, recycled, and card stock. You may frown again," what the meaning for knowing all of these? Boxes are just boxes!" In my opinion, getting a brief education on these box materials allows people to know exactly what they are using and this can be very vital sometimes.
Corrugated boxes consist of one or two flat linerboards encasing a fluted corrugated sheet. corrugated fiberboard is used to manufacture shipping containers and corrugated boxes. Corrugated boxes originated in the mid-19th century. Corrugated boxes were initially used to package pottery and glass containers.
Except for Corrugated Boxes, there are also other boxes. Paperboard is usually 0.01 inch thicker than paper. ISO standards designate paperboard as paper with more than a 224 g/m basis weight, with exceptions. It can be single ply or multi-ply and is lightweight and easy to form and cut. Since it is strong, it is useful as packaging material.
Recycled cardboard boxes are also a kind of boxes which are used widely. They are created from cardboard packaging waste from residential households and companies dealing in packaged goods. Wood pulp manufacturers often deal directly in recycled cardboard materials, repurposing them into new cardboard boxes. Prices of recyclable cardboard fell in 2008 and then increased in 2009. Recycled cardboard boxes are friendly to the environmant, therefore you do make contribution to the environment protection when you use this kind of boxes.
The rectangle is the most common box shape and sizes vary from tiny to those that fit a large appliance. The durability of the boxes depends on the type of material people used to make the box, with some materials more suitable for packaging certain items.
Before you buy or use any cardboard box, make it clear that what they are made of. Some material can be harmful to your health and some are too fragile to pack your stuff.

How to Make Corrugated boxes
Corrugated boxes usually come in many shapes as well as sizes. They vary from the most common corrugated boxes with flaps at the top and bottom to the unusual ones called die cut boxes. A die cut corrugated box has been made using a cutting forme. You have a flat piece of cardboard and a cutting forme which has lots of blades mounted on a sheet of wood which presses out a shape in the cardboard and this shape folds to make corrugated boxes.
If you want to make corrugated boxes, the first thing you need to do is to make the corrugated board into a box. Usually, corrugated board is made of three pieces of paper bonded together with a starch adhesive. The two outer liners remain flat however the middle layer of paper is made wavy. All of these give the product its strength. It is called corrugated board.
Among all of these types, single wall corrugated board is the most common one. We uses three pieces of paper to make it with the middle layer. Of course, there are also double wall boxes these are made up from two single walled layers, therefore you have 3 paper liners sandwiched with two sets of fluting.
You need to cut the corrugated cardboard to size if you want to make it a real box! the size of the blank (this is the name for the uncut piece of cardboard) will obviously depend on the size of box you want to create. Say you want a box 305Lx229Wx229H mm (we always measure boxes by the length first then the width then the height) you would need to measure your box as: 305+229+305+229+50 = 1118mm wide against the fluting (the 50 measurement is left for the glue flap), by 229+229 =458mm height (with the fluting) The fluting always runs with the height of the box.
Once you have cut your bank to size you now need to cut your top and bottom flaps and then glue the box together using the glue flap.
